Under-8 Royals FC Youth Academy 2008/09

The Royals Futbol Club is pleased to announce the formation of its Youth Soccer Academy. The RFC Youth Academy is a unique soccer development program designed to provide players in the U8 age range with an opportunity to improve fundamental soccer skills in a fun and safe environment. Our program is unique in a number of ways, a few of those include: 

  • Our staff. Each session is conducted by trained, nationally licensed coaches.    
  • We understand that kids really enjoy their MCSA teams. This program is designed to supplement the MCSA experience; while exposing the players and parents to trained coaches and the soccer club environment.


What you need to know:

  • The Youth Academy kicks off in August 2008 with an 8-session Fall program; the 8-session Spring program will start in March 2009.
    • Each weekly session runs approximately 1-hour - from 5:00-6:00pm.
    • Player/Coaches ratio will not exceed 8:1!
    • Each session is conducted by trained, nationally licensed coaches!
  • Fall Youth Academy is currently in Pre-Registration for the full 8 session program!
  • The full program consists of eight (8) 1-hour sessions. At the conclusion of the 8 week program, we will have a Royals Futbol Club Academy Olympics in which each participant will have a chance to demonstrate his/her soccer skills where every player receives an award. 
    • The cost of the 8-week program is $40 (which includes registration fees and t-shirt)
    • The program is conducted 5:00pm-6:00pm on Wednesdays at Rossview High School.
    • Participants must wear shin guards and soccer cleats/running shoes and should bring their own drinking water.
