U8 YOUTH ACADEMY PROGRAM

The Royals Futbol Club is pleased to announce the formation of its Youth Soccer Academy. The RFC Youth Academy is a unique soccer development program designed to provide players in the U8 age range with an opportunity to improve fundamental soccer skills in a fun and safe environment.

The Youth Academy will kick off again mid/end of August with our 8-week long Fall program. In the Fall we are going to offer our Academy program on Wednesdays. So don't forget to pre-register and to save a spot for your son and/or daughter.

The 92 Royals beat East Ridge Express (4:3) and Harpeth Futbol Club (2:1) to qualify for the Championship game against Cleveland Futbol Club. A late goal in the 2nd Overtime secured the win (2:1) for the team after the game was tied 1:1 after 90 minutes.

The 93 Royals tied East Ridge Express (1:1) and beat Smyrna Futbol Club (2:0) on their way to the Championship game against Brentwood Soccer Club. Tied 1:1 the game went in Overtime. Both teams had several chances to secure the win but Brentwood was the one that scored the winning goal with 45 seconds left in the 2nd Overtime.

96 Royals beat Eagle Express (2:1), tied Whitehouse Soccer Club (2:2), and beat FC Academy (10:0) to qualify for the semi-finals. The team advanced to the Championship game with a win over Knoxville Futbol Club (5:0). In a hard fought game the 96 Royals lost to Whitehouse Soccer Club (0:4).
